MTN Ghana is inviting Ghanaian students to apply for its Bright Scholarships. Here is the MTN Bright Scholarship Application Form and how to apply for the current year

To Be Eligible, One:

  • Must be a first-year or a continuing student pursuing a first degree at any Ghanaian public tertiary institution or pursuing vocational and technical skills training
  • Must be a Ghanaian, brilliant but needy
  • Must be of good conduct, hardworking, and have excellent academic results, being involved in extra-curricular activities as a continuing student is a plus
  • Be proven to be without any academic disciplinary issues and must not be serving a bond to be of good behaviour

How to APPLY for MTN Bright Scholarship

  • First visit the MTN Bright Scholarship Application Form Portal: scholarship.mtn.com.gh OR Download MTN Bright Scholarship Application Form here
  • You as well visit selected MTN service centres or any of our regional offices: Tamale Branch, Wa Branch, Bolgatanga Branch, Kumasi (Nhyiaeso Branch), Takoradi (Main-Beach Road, Ho Main Branch, MTN House (Accra, Cape Coast Branch Sunyani Main Branch, Koforidua Main Branch, to pick up and submit forms
  • Your application must include the following:
  • Provide a one-page letter of motivation or reason indicating why MTN Foundation should award you a scholarship for your education. This should touch on what your educational and professional goals are
  • Submit the application together with valid contact details (phone number/E-mail address)
  • Shortlisted applicants will be notified and invited to meet the scholarship panel

MTN Bright Scholarship Application For Undergraduates - First Year's

  • First Year's must have credit passes in six (6) subjects with an overall aggregate of 24 at the WASSCE/SSSCE respectively
  • Three of the aforementioned six subjects should be core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, or Social Studies and three must be in relevant electives
  • For the purposes of the Scholarship, a credit pass in:  i) WASSCE means A1 - C6,  ii) SSSCE means A - D
  • Admission letter and written testimonials of your Senior High School

MTN Bright Scholarship Application For Continuing Undergraduate Students

  • Continuing Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • You must be involved in extra-curricular activities
  • Be proven to be without any academic disciplinary issues and must not be serving a bond to be of good behaviour

Please Note

  • Applying is completely FREE
  • An applicant who enjoys any other form of educational scholarship should not apply
  • Priority would be given to persons pursuing courses in ICT, Computer science, Engineering, Artificial intelligence and data analysis
  • Women and persons with disability are especially encouraged to apply 
  • Priority would be given to applicants who lived and attended school in Bono East, Ahafo Region, Savannah Region, North East Region, Western North Region, and Oti Region

Misrepresentation in any material form renders the application null and void.

Any award made based on misrepresentation shall be withdrawn or refunded by the applicant
