KNUST UNVEILS MAGNIFICIENT GOLD-PLATED STATUE OF OTUMFOUR

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has unveiled a magnificent gold-plated statue of its Chancellor, the Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II, in recognition of his tremendous contribution to the university's growth and development.

The statue, gold-plated stands tall at the entrance of the university, depicting the Asantehene in all his regal splendour. The event was graced by notable dignitaries such as the Vice Chancellor of KNUST, Prof Rita Akosua Dickson, the Deputy Minister of Education, and MP for Assin South, Hon Ntim Fordjour.

KNUST is a renowned public research university in Kumasi, Ghana, specialising in science, technology, and innovation. The University was established in 1952 as the Kumasi College of Technology, and since then, it has evolved to become one of the best universities in Africa. KNUST is known for its outstanding research and academic excellence, innovative programs, state-of-the-art facilities, and serene environment.
