The University of Ghana announces that various Congregation Ceremonies will be held for prospective graduates who completed their programmes of study during the 2021/2022 Academic Year in postgraduate, undergraduate, and diploma programmes as follows:

UG CONGREGATION: GOWN COLLECTION POINTS FOR THE MARCH, 2023 

Graduands are to first register for the congregation online and make payment before proceeding to collect their gowns at the following locations:


RETURN OF ACADEMIC GOWNS

 All graduates are to return their gowns immediately after the ceremony to the collection points for their certificates


PLEASE NOTE

Failure to return gowns by the deadline will attract a weekly penalty. Late submission should be done in Room D7, Academic Affairs Directorate, Registry, where the penalty will be determined. 


COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATES: Certificates can be collected after gowns have been returned.


Students who have completed their programmes of study and wish to be presented during the March 2023 Congregation Ceremony are required to take note of the following: 


Payment may be made through Mobile Money, Visa/MasterCard enabled Debit/Credit cards on the Congregation registration portal 

At any branch of Ecobank Ghana Limited, etc

Graduating students should note the following: 

  • To avoid traffic congestion on the day of the congregation, a park-and-ride arrangement will be in place, with shuttle buses available to convey graduating students to the venue and back to designated parking areas after the ceremony. 
  • Only graduating students and guests with official invitation cards will be allowed entry to the Congregation venues. All other family and friends of graduating students may follow proceedings online. 
  • There are to be NO PARTIES on lawns and other open spaces on campus after the ceremony. 

All COVID-19 protocols shall be strictly observed.
