It is important to note that the medical examination is a mandatory requirement for all Level 100 students, both local and international. As such, it is crucial that all Level 100 students make arrangements to undergo the medical examination before the set deadline of Sunday, April 30th, 2023. Students who fail to comply with this requirement for the stipulated period shall pay a penalty of 200.00 as an additional cost

Barely one week to the end of this important exercise, SKO BUREAU serves as a reminder to all level 100 students to partake in the exercise before they go on vacation to avoid any further cost.

Continuing students who have not gone through this exercise are also advised to do the needful because the medical examination is also a requirement for graduation

This exercise is not just a formality, but rather an opportunity for students to get a full medical check-up and address any health issues they may have.

The medical examination is a comprehensive assessment of a student's health status and is designed to ensure that all students are healthy and fit to engage in academic and extracurricular activities on campus.

The medical examination process involves a range of assessments, including physical examinations, laboratory tests, etc. These assessments are aimed at identifying any pre-existing medical conditions that may pose a risk to a student's health or affect their academic performance. In addition, the medical examination helps to identify any infectious diseases that students may be carrying and ensures that appropriate measures are taken to prevent the spread of such diseases.

To facilitate the medical examination process, the University has put in place measures to ensure that it is convenient and accessible for all students. Students are required to register for the medical examination online and choose a preferred date and time for their appointment. The University Hospital also operates extended hours during the examination period to accommodate students who may have conflicting schedules.

Moreover, the University has made provisions for students who may require additional medical support during their studies. The University Hospital provides a range of medical services, including specialist consultations, emergency care, and mental health support.

In conclusion, the compulsory medical examination for Level 100 students at the University of Ghana is a vital component of the University's commitment to promoting the health and well-being of its students.

The examination is a preventative measure that helps to ensure that students are fit to participate in academic and extracurricular activities on campus and that the University can provide appropriate support to students with special needs.

The University's Health Insurance Scheme and other medical services further reinforce the University's commitment to ensuring that its students have access to quality healthcare. As such, all Level 100 students are reminded to undergo the medical examination before the set deadline to safeguard their health and ensure a successful academic journey.
