The Vice-Chancellor's Invitation: Dy 2 Of The 2023 Aggrey-Fraser-Guggisberg Memorial Lecture Series: Exploring The Intersection Of Resilience, Technology, And Humanism

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, has extended a warm invitation to all University of Ghana students to attend the second day of the highly anticipated 2023 Aggrey-Fraser-Guggisberg Memorial Lecture Series, taking place today, Thursday, 27th April 2023, at 4:30 pm in the prestigious Great Hall of the University of Ghana



The lecture will be delivered by Her Ladyship Justice Professor Henrietta J.A.N. Mensa-Bonsu. This year's lecture series, held under the theme "Resilience, Technology, and Humanism," promises to be an enlightening and engaging event. 

As an annual event of great importance, the Aggrey-Fraser-Guggisberg Memorial Lecture Series provides an invaluable opportunity for members of the University community to learn from experts across various fields of study. TODAYS LECTURE THEME

In the second lecture titled, "Yen Ara Asaase Ni" Remix - Tuning Up the Contribution of Law in the Ghana We Desire", Justice Professor Mensa-Bonsu will delve into the role of law in achieving the Ghana We Desire, offering a chance to reflect on the use of law as a tool for development and the challenges Ghana faces in this regard.

To ensure a smooth program, Justice Barbara Ackah-Yensu, a distinguished member of the University of Ghana Council, will serve as the chairperson for today's event. With her expertise and leadership, the lecture promises to be an organized and thought-provoking experience for all attendees.

In addition to the lecture series, a special congregation will be held on Friday, 28th April 2023, at 3:30 pm in the Great Hall.
