The University of Ghana, a renowned institution dedicated to academic excellence and innovation, is proud to announce the commencement of construction of its first Hotspot Comfort Zone, which is part of the three-pronged initiatives under the Vice-Chancellor’s Digitalisation Initiative, which seeks to enhance the University's digital infrastructure and create a conducive digital environment for teaching, learning, and research.
Members of the university community have been cordially invited to witness a momentous occasion—the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the Hotspot Comfort Zone which will take place on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.

Adjacent to the Maison Française and the Athletics Oval, this first-of-its-kind facility will serve as a hub of connectivity, enabling individuals to leverage digital resources and platforms for their academic pursuits and personal growth. The Hotspot Comfort Zone will be equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, high-speed internet access, Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, charging stations, and collaborative spaces, fostering an atmosphere of productivity and innovation
