On April 3, 2023, the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Ghana sent out an invitation to all student leaders to participate in a Student Leadership Training Seminar that was scheduled to take place on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Cedi Conference Centre from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The letter read, "Dear Executives, You are by this letter invited to participate in a Student Leadership training seminar being organized by the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs.". The seminar is a great opportunity for student executives to network with their peers and learn from experienced professionals. The seminar features several distinguished speakers, including the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Rosina Kyerematen. Other notable speakers include experts in leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal development. The seminar is designed to provide student executives with a platform to learn from experienced professionals, exchange ideas, and network with other student leaders
The following student leaders have been invited to attend the seminar: All SRC Executives, All Interim Management Committee members for Accra City Campus, All Interim Management Committee members for Distance Education, All Interim Management Committee members for GRASAG, All JCR Executives, All Presidents of Graduate Christian Fellowship, All UCF Executives, General Assembly Speaker, All Students with Special Needs, Two representatives from each re-registered Departmental Association.
The seminar promises to be an exciting one, offering student executives a unique opportunity to develop their leadership skills and gain new insights into the dynamics of leadership in the higher education context. The seminar will cover a range of topics, including leadership styles, effective communication, team building, and conflict resolution.
