The SCDE offers learning opportunities to individuals who wish to advance their education while pursuing their professional careers. The institution provides students with a range of academic programs that are tailored to meet their unique learning needs.

As the examination period begins, students are expected to prepare adequately by revising their course materials and taking part in any available revision sessions. The end-of-the-first-semester examination is an essential aspect of the academic calendar, as it serves as an assessment of the student's knowledge and understanding of the course content. The results of the examination will determine the student's academic progress and provide valuable feedback to lecturers on their teaching methods.

The SCDE has provided students with three modes of examination, namely;

  • Sit-In (Using An Answer Booklet)
  • Online Offsite, and
  • Take Home.

These different modes of examination provide students with the flexibility to choose an option that suits their learning style and availability. The Sit-In examination allows students to answer questions in an answer booklet while in the examination hall, while the Online Offsite option enables students to take their exams from the comfort of their homes. The Take Home option provides students with an opportunity to complete their exams at home and submit them within the specified deadline.

As the examination period begins, it is essential to wish all SCDE students the best of luck. Success in the end-of-the-first-semester examination requires hard work, determination, and focus. Students are encouraged to approach the examination with a positive attitude, a clear mind, and a willingness to showcase what they have learned over the course of the semester.

In conclusion, the end of the first-semester examination is an essential aspect of the academic calendar for students of the School of Continuing and Distance Education. The institution's commitment to providing flexible learning opportunities and diverse modes of examination ensures that students can pursue their education without sacrificing their professional careers.

As the examination period begins, all SCDE students are invited to appear in the examination halls to account for what they have learned and demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the course content. We wish them all the best of luck!
