Mark Your Calendars: The University Of Ghana Releases Academic Calendar For The 2023/2024 Academic Year

The University of Ghana has recently released the academic calendar for the upcoming 2023/2024 academic year. This is an important announcement for both students and staff as it provides them with essential information about the academic schedule for the year

According to the calendar, continuing students are expected to report to campus from Thursday, October 5, 2023, to Sunday, October 8, 2023, while freshers (Level 100's) will report from Tuesday, January 2, 2024, to Thursday, January 4, 2024. This gives students ample time to prepare for the academic year ahead and to ensure they are ready to begin their studies. Find below the academic calendar, for the 2023/2024 year



It is important to note that some schools at the University of Ghana may have different dates as their semesters extend beyond the normal academic calendar. These schools include the School of Law, Medical School, Dental School, School of Biomedical and Allied Health Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine, School of Nursing and Midwifery, and School of Pharmacy. Students in these schools are advised to obtain their academic calendars from the respective schools to ensure they have the most accurate and up-to-date information
