How To Add/Delete A Course On Mis Web, Join Course/Class Group And Submit An Assignment On Sakai

Dear University of Ghana students, it is essential to be proactive and make the necessary corrections to your course registration before it is too late. Missing out on adding or deleting courses within the designated timeframe can lead to academic and scheduling challenges.
By promptly addressing any errors or adjustments in their course registrations, students can ensure they have the correct courses in their schedule and have joined the appropriate course/class groups on Sakai.

To add and delete courses on the Mis Web and join course/class groups on Sakai, students can follow the steps outlined below. It is crucial for students to take action promptly to ensure they make the necessary corrections before it is too late
- You may have mistakenly registered wrong courses. You may have failed to register for the courses you were supposed to register. You may be finding it difficult to join a Course Group and submit an assignment.
- If that is the case, then kindly follow the basic steps below to add a course, delete a course, join a Course Group and submit an assignment
- Some students over the years have suffered greatly concerning the subject of thought. The consequence of it is that they are unable to graduate at the end of their stipulated years of study
- Remember that Adding and Deleting courses are done through the MIS WEB whiles joining Course/Class Groups and Submitting an assignment are done through SAKAI
1. STEPS FOR ADDING COURSES
- “Login in” Mis Web https://ienabler.ug.edu.gh/pls/prodi41/w99pkg.mi_login to enter the registration system.
- Click on “Registration” under the Student iEnabler (on the left side of the screen).
- Click on “Add Subject to a Registration”
- Click on “Qualification” to see the list of courses. To register for additional courses from the list, click on the small box close to the course code and title to select the courses you are required to register for this semester.
- Click on “Save and Continue” to view the courses you have selected. You can click on “Restart Process” if you need to make some corrections.
- Then click on “Continue”
- Click on “Accept Registration” to complete registration.
- Click on “Printer Friendly Format” and print proof of registration.
- Click on LOG-OUT to EXIT
2. STEPS FOR DELETING COURSES
- Login in Mis Web https://ienabler.ug.edu.gh/pls/prodi41/w99pkg.mi_login to enter the registration system.
- Type in your Student ID Number and 5-digit PIN
- Click on “Registration” under the Student iEnabler (on the left side of the screen).
- Click on “Subject Cancellation” to see the list of courses registered. To cancel courses from the list, click on the small box close to the course code and title and select the reason for cancelling from the drop-down list next to the course.
- Click on “Save Subject Cancellation”
- Click on “Student Enquiry” under the Student iEnabler to view the updated proof of registration.
- Click on “Printer Friendly Format” and print proof of registration
- Click on LOG-OUT to EXIT.
NB: Courses that are cancelled cannot be added again to the MIS Web
3. STEPS TO JOIN A COURSE/CLASS GROUP
- Login to Sakai: https://sakai.ug.edu.gh/portal/xlogin with your ID and PIN
- Click on SITES
- Click on the COURSE CODE
- Click on TOOLS
- Scroll down and click on SITE INFO
- Click on GROUPS YOU CAN JOIN
- Join a group of your choice (i.e, A, B, C, D, etc)
- Click on GROUP YOU ARE A MEMBER OF to know your group
