Members of the University Community are invited to the second public lecture in a series of lectures planned to engage various stakeholders on topical issues of national concern, as part of activities marking the University’s 75th anniversary.

The second public lecture focuses on Ghana's 66th Independence Anniversary. The keynote address will be delivered by Mr Manasseh Azure Awuni, Editor-in-Chief, of The Fourth Estate on the topic: Our Ghana - Reflections on Integrity and Resilience.

Shadrack Kofi Ofori Elected As The New BHJCR President For The 2023/2024 Academic Year

Owusu Mr Shadrack Kofi Ofori has been elected as the new President of the Business House Junior Common Room (BHJCR) of the University of Ghana Business School for the 2023/2024 academic year. The election was held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, using the University of Ghana Computing Systems (UGCS) for an online election process. The election process was conducted transparently and fairly, and students could vote from the comfort of their homes using their personal devices. This online election process was a result of the recent student riots and the Covid-19 pandemic, which necessitated the need for social distancing and limiting large gatherings. Mr Shadrack Kofi Ofori, a level 300-year student at the University of Ghana Business School, won the presidential election with a total of 1,772 votes which is equivalent to 80.7% of the total vote cast.
