The Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) is accepting applications for the Baker Hughes Scholarship and Ernst & Young – CSR Scholarship for needy and brilliant regular Ghanaian Undergraduate Students on the University of Ghana Main Campus 

The deadline for the submission of the applications is THURSDAY, 14TH MARCH 2023

A) 2022/2023 BAKER HUGHES SCHOLARSHIP - CALL FOR APPLICATION

DEADLINE FOR THE SUBMISSION – TUESDAY MARCH 14th, 2023 at 3:00pm.

The Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) is accepting 2022/23 applications for the award of The SFAO-BH Scholarship for UG students from areas of need reading BA Computer Science or any of the following APPLIED SCIENCES at the University of Ghana: 

School of Engineering:

  •  Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering
  •  Bachelor of Science in Material Science and Engineering
  • School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences
  •  Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
  •  Bachelor of Science in Earth Science
  •  Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

The Scholarship will cover academic, and residential fees, stipend and feeding allowance.

You are eligible to apply if you:

  •  Are a Ghanaian.
  •  Are a University of Ghana regular student.
  • Obtained an aggregate of 15 or better at the WASSCE or CGPA 3.0.
  • Are able to demonstrate limited family income and/or insufficient funds to cover most or all educational-related expenses.
  •  Have the will to succeed (determination, perseverance and success in other pursuits). 
  • Will maintain at least a 3.0 CGPA 
  •  Are of Good Conduct.

If you meet the above qualifications Download and submit a completed BH- SFAO FORM SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION from the UG- SFAO Website. 

In addition to the application form, you will be required to the required essays, a copy of your academic records (WASSCE grades), letters of recommendation Admission and other supporting need documents.

B) CALL FOR EY - CSR SCHOLARSHIP 2022-23 FOR LEVEL 100

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS THURSDAY, 14TH MARCH, 2023.  

The Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) is accepting 2022/23 applications for the award of The SFAO-EY Scholarship for UG students from areas of need reading: 

  • Science (Physics, Chemistry)
  •  Technology
  •  Engineering and
  •  Mathematics

Eligible candidates who have received the EY Ghana CSR award in the current year will be eligible for the renewal of the EY Ghana CSR for the subsequent year(s) provided they maintain a Grade Point Average of (GPA) 3.0 or better and are in need of the funds. 

The Scholarship will cover academic, and residential fees, stipend and feeding allowance.

You are eligible to apply if you:

  •  Are a regular Ghanaian Student. 
  •  Obtained a WASSCE aggregate of 15 or better.
  •  Are able to demonstrate limited family income and/or insufficient funds to cover most educational-related expenses. 
  •  Have the will to succeed (determination, perseverance and success in other pursuits). 
  •  Are of a Good Conduct

SAMUEL ACKOM ELECTED AS THE JCR PRESIDENT OF ALEXANDER ADUM KWAPONG HALL

 Source: Samuel K. Owusu It has been four years now since the famous among all the diaspora halls, the Alexander Adum Kwapong Hall, had an election.
